Searching the database by hand

The Sourcing page: search Tenure's database yourself, pick the people you want, and message them with reach-out credits.

A run does the searching for you. When you would rather look yourself, the Sourcing page is Tenure's database open to you: search it, read the people it finds, and message the ones you choose.

Searching

Type names, specialties, locations, or anything from a bio, or paste an NPI. Narrow the results by Specialty and State. If you make a typo, Tenure searches the nearest match and says so above the results.

Each result shows the person's specialty, years of experience, and location, with a line from their bio. Two labels tell you where you stand with them: In your pool for someone who has already applied or replied interested (their contact details are on their record), and On cooldown for someone your account messaged in the last 7 days.

Messaging

Tick the people you want and click Message, or use Message on one card. Write one message for everyone you selected, with an optional subject line. It is sent through Tenure, and every send is recorded in your contacts so nobody is messaged twice.

Messages from the database use reach-out credits: one per person. Your balance and where to buy more are under Settings → Billing. Board passes use no credits. See Billing and seats.

When someone replies

An interested reply unlocks the person's contact details for your account and notifies you at once, the same as a reply to a run. See Interested candidates.

Do-not-contact

The list that every run honours sits beside the search, under Sourcing → Do-not-contact. See Do-not-contact.
