# Pausing, resuming, and cancelling

> Every run can be paused, resumed, or cancelled on every channel at once from its page.

Open a run from **AI sourcing → Runs**. The buttons at the top act on every channel together.

- **Pause everywhere** stops messages going out on every channel. Replies still arrive.
- **Resume everywhere** picks up where each channel left off.
- **Cancel run** ends it. People already contacted keep their place in your contacts, and their replies still reach you.

## Run status

A run is **active** while any channel is working, **paused** when every open channel is paused, **completed** when every channel has finished, and **cancelled** after you cancel it. Each channel card shows its own status too: a board pass reads **Processing** until Tenure's sourcing technology starts it.

## When a run completes

You are notified when Tenure's database finishes and again when every channel is done, by email and in the app, with a link to the run.
