# How Tenure works your boards

> What happens on a job board after you start a run, who does the work, and how it is paced and recorded.

When you start a run with a job board on, Tenure receives the whole ask: the role, the message, the job description, and the maximum for that board.

## What does the work

Tenure's AI-powered proprietary sourcing technology works the board on your account: it searches for people who fit, vets each one against the role, and sends your message through the board's own messaging, from your employer account. The channel card reads **Processing** until it begins, then **Active**.

## Pace

Each board has a daily pace Tenure sets from experience with that board's limits. A run's maximum is spread across as many days as the pace needs.

## Who is skipped

It skips anyone on your do-not-contact list, anyone already in your contact pool, anyone messaged in the last 7 days, and anyone who does not genuinely fit the role. A skip is never made up for with a weaker match.

## What comes back

Every person contacted is recorded in your **Contacts** with the board, the run, the date, and the outcome as replies come in. When a reply shows an email, phone, or profile link, it is on the contact's page. Interested replies notify you at once.

## Finishing

A board pass ends when it reaches the run's maximum or the pool of real matches is exhausted. You are notified, with the numbers, and the run page shows the tally.
